Father Dennis: The Steadfast Architect Behind Kada Warriors’ Revival

When it comes to Nigerian football, the name Father Dennis resonates with authority, experience, and unyielding passion. To those who have worked with or crossed paths with him, he is known as a no-nonsense administrator with a meticulous eye for detail—be it in scounting for coaches, planning team logistics, or preparing a squad for league action. If precision and professionalism are required, Father Dennis is the man for the job.
His football journey began on the pitch, playing for the renowned Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Coach Bala Nikyu, before moving on to FC Taraba . However, his transition to football administration truly cemented his legacy. Father Dennis isn’t a name to dismiss lightly—his contributions remain etched in the memories of fans and stakeholders alike.
During his tenure at FC Taraba as team coordinator,he formed a formidable partnership with Tijani Babangida, the Chairman of the club and former Super Eagles winger and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN). This "made-in-heaven" duo took FC Taraba from obscurity to national prominence, guiding the club to the NPFL. Their success was unfortunately short-lived, as politics and selfish interests derailed the team’s progress, leading to its collapse. Yet, Father Dennis never stopped working, dedicating himself to helping clubs establish the structures needed for sustainable growth.
When the Kaduna State Government decided to restore their footballing pride through Kada Warriors, they turned to Tijani Babangida—an experienced league administrator—who, without hesitation, brought Father Dennis on board as the team coordinator,.Tasked with securing promotion, Father Dennis embraced the challenge with his trademark tenacity. A battle-hardened league veteran unafraid of uncharted territory, he wasted no time in setting Kada Warriors on the right path.
The results speak for themselves. In their opening game, Kada Warriors stunned Adamawa United on their home turf, claiming a remarkable victory in front of a hostile crowd. Father Dennis has once again stepped onto the threshold of history, determined to write another chapter of triumph.
With his expertise and unwavering commitment, hopes are high that Father Dennis under the guidance of Tijani Babangida can lead Kada Warriors to the NPFL, restoring Kaduna's place at the pinnacle of Nigerian .
