Falz Opens Up About His Law Background and Father's Legacy

Nigerian rapper Falz revealed that he wasn't pressured into studying law due to his father's success, but rather inspired by his legacy.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo on With Chude podcast, Falz shared how his father, Femi Falana SAN, influenced his decision.

Growing up, Falz witnessed people's admiration for his father's advocacy and humanitarian work.

"I aspired to emulate what he was doing... Everyone had a story about how my dad helped them," Falz said.

Despite studying law, Falz only practiced for two years (2012-2014) before pursuing music full-time.

He worked at the Ministry of Justice during his youth service and later at his father's firm.

Falz's experience in law has shaped his unique perspective and informed his socially conscious music.
