Enyimba Rewards Ndidi Anumnu With 'Most Dedicated Staff' Award
Former rampant forward, Ndidi Anumnu, has been rewarded by his former club, Enyimba, with 'most dedicated staff' award ss part of the People's Elephant's administrative measures to get the best of it’s staf.
Nicknamed 'Animal' during his playing days following his bullish knack for goal, Ndidi Anumnu belongs to the Enyimba illustrious squad that broke Nigeria's CAF Champions League jinx with a back-to-back win in 2003 and 2004.
After Enyimba's pyrrhic 1-0 triumph over 'stubborn' Doma United in Sunday's NPFL Match Day 25 in Aba, Anumnu mounted the podium to receive his award from the club's Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, a former Nigeria international.
Presenting the award, Ekwueme said the reason for the club to institute the award was one of many innovations by the Kanu Papilo Nwankwo 'FIFA Ambassador' led administration aimed at making the club the best, not just in the country, but also across the continent.
Ekwueme further noted that dedication to duty is key to achieving success in any business, including football, adding that the eyes of Enyimba's management is on all staff as the award has come to stay to stimulate the commitment of the staff who will be rewarded for their efforts.
“You know the players are already being rewarded by our partners for their performance on the field of play every month as 'Man Of The Match” and “Player Of The Month' award sponsored by Infinix.
“We felt that our staff also needs such motivation to ensure that they are always at their utmost best in discharging their duties, hence this award", Ekwueme said.
Ndidi, who is the Youth Team Coordinator, was rewarded with a brand new SMART 7HD phone which is sponsored by the Sporting Director for his dedication to duty.
