Aim for the stars , even if you fail you will land among the clouds, the above is a famous quote attributed to a 20th century philosopher and psychologist Vincent Norman Pearle. The above was the situation Enyimba FC under -19 side, The Young Elephants found themselves in a week three fixture of the ongoing Nigerian National under 19 league  away to Bayelsa United.

The Coach Joe Akuma tutored side got a well deserved share of the spoils in a crunch fixture played inside the mainbowl of the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenegoa  Bayelsa State.

The Young Elephants started well by  creating a few early chances and were rewarded in the 3rd minute when Nathan Chinedu's strike gave them the early lead much to the delight of the Enyimba dugout and the dismay of the home fans.

Shortly after failing behind, the host took over the initiative and created a few chances but found it difficult to go pass the solid Enyimba defense, even as the came very close to scoring in the 20th minute when Enyimba's goalkeeper Moses Akams expertly pushed away a goal bound free kick.

 In the 38th minute goalkeeper Moses Akams of Enyimba produced another moment of brilliance as his point blank save from Bayelsa United's Boluatari Wisdom's unmarked effort inside the box made sure Enyimba preserved their lead till the halftime break.

 

The second half started as the first half ended with Bayelsa United asking all the questions but Enyimba's solid display at the back meant that the home team were really out for a difficult and frustrating evening in their very own backyard.

In the 64th minute of Bayelsa United neatly converted a penalty to draw the game level.

Coach Joe Akuma was able to manage the game till the final whistle to earn Enyimba FC a valuable away point in the coastal city of Yenegoa as the game ended 1-1.
