The management of Enyimba Football Club, under the leadership of Chairman Nwankwo Kanu, remains united and committed to the club's success. This was emphasized by the club's Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, in response to baseless and malicious reports alleging internal conflicts within the club.

In a statement, Ekwueme categorically denied the claims, highlighting the club's unwavering focus on restoring Enyimba FC's former glory. 

"Our focus remains intact, and we are resolute in our pursuit of excellence. We are aware of the efforts of our detractors, but we remain unshaken and focused on our objectives."

Ekwueme expressed the team's gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, for his unwavering support and recent donation of a coaster and a Hummer bus to the club. These gestures have significantly boosted the team's morale and ensured the prompt payment of players' salaries. 

"The players and officials are happy, and everyone can see the reflection of their commitment on the pitch," he added.

The Sporting Director urged critics and detractors to reconsider their stance, emphasizing that Enyimba FC is a club built for greatness. 

"We are committed to upholding the high standards of our team and ensuring a successful season," he stated.

The club's strong start to the season, with an unbeaten record in the league thus far, is a testament to the team's dedication and commitment to excellence. Ekwueme's assertion underscores the club's resolve to silence its critics and achieve success on the pitch.
