Enyimba Contact CAF Over Morocco Landing Permit Delay Antics

Nigeria Champions, Enyimba, have dispatched a strong worded complain to Confederation of African Football, CAF, over what is clearly seen as 'frustrating antics' by Moroccan authorities ahead their Wednesday's AFL Quarter final return leg match against Wydad Athletic Club, WAC, Casablanca, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Wydad ran out 1-0 winners in Sunday's first leg tie at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, going into tomorrow's reverse fixture.
But inability of the Moroccan authorities to issue landing permit to the traveling Enyimba chattered Air Peace flight, leaving the team stranded in Lagos since Monday evening.
And a distrust Enyimba have now weighed their options and have thus decided to complain to CAF through the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
"Right now as we speak, we're still in the hotel, no information yet", an official of Enyimba told Exclusivenews.com.ng.
"But we've contacted CAF, alerting them on what is happening, our predicament.
"Let's see whether things would be sorted out fast for us to still travel".
Enyimba have won the CAF Champions League twice in 2003 and 2004, to earn the bragging right to participate in this .aiden edition of the much more lucrative African Football League.
