The hierarchy of Enyimba Internatiinal FC have revealed they will embark on young players recruitment for their youth team, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The exercise, billed to last for one week, is slated to get underway on Monday, 4 September, 2023.

Ifeanyi Ekwueme, a former Nigeria international, who also is the Sporting Director of the most successful and most decorated club in the country, disclosed this on Saturday, 2 September in a short message service, sms, to Exclusivenews.com.ng.

Ekwueme, in the message signed by the Executive Chairman of Enyimba, Ambassador Nwankwo Kanu, OON, a former Super Eagles Captain, revealed that venue for the week-long exercise is the football field of Abia,State Polytechnic, Aba.

Enyimba, thus, called on 'parents, guardians and football clubs in Abia State and beyond' to bring their kids who are within the ages of 15-20 for the screening exercise.

"Enyimba FC management is organizing a one-week screening exercise for the youth team",,the People's Elephant informed via the message. 

"Bring your kids who are under the ages of 15-20yrs., starting from Monday, September 4-8, 2023, at Abia Polytechnic field, Aba, 
at 9am each day", the statement concluded.
