The second edition of the Babatem Anambra State All Stars Competition is set to get underway as organisers have called for entries by interested All Stars Clubs across the state.

In it inaugural edition in 2023, 24 clubs participated in the showpiece with ex- players above the age of 40 eligible to participate.

According to the organiser, interested All Stars Clubs are to register with the sum of N60, 000 payable to the Anambra State Football Association Zenith Bank Account.

"Registration is open from 10 th May 2024", organisers said with draws slated to hold at the state FA Secretariat, Awka, on a date yet to be announced.

This year's edition is powered by Patrick lingo Pharmaceuticals Limited, makers Baba Tem drugs.

Overall winners will cart home the sum of N1m star prize while runners-up will receive N500, 000 just as third place team will be rewarded with N300, 000.

The All Stars Football Competition is the brainchild of the Anambra State Football Association led by Chikelue Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles and U23 Olympic Eagles defender.
