Top class football will be served on a platter Saturday when two NNL sides, Edel FC and Solution FC clash in the 17th edition of Neros Pharmaceuticals/Anambra FA Cup Final. The crunchy fixture will hold at the Neros Stadium, Nanka.

To earn the bragging right for the final and consequently ticket to fly the state flag at the NFF Federation Cup, Solution FC saw off defending champions, Ozalla FA 1-0 in the first semi final match at the Neros Stadium, Nanka.

In the second semi final, Edel brushed aside Peace FC 3-1 to set up Saturday's all NNL sides 2024 Neros Pharmaceuticals/Anambra FA Cup final.

The eventual winner in Saturday's classic tie will earn N2m with the runners-up collecting N1m just as the third placed team will receive a N500, 000 consolation prize.

There are also awards/rewards for individual performers like Most Valuable Player, MVP; BTop Scorer; Best Goalkeeper amongst others.

Solution FC, formed few months ago by the Anambra State Government, are making their debut in the FA Cup and aiming to lift the trophy in their maiden participation.

Edel, then known as Nnewi Utd, won the cup in 2022 before they were dethroned in 2023 by Ozalla FA.
