Poland denied Zambian girls their freedom to qualify for the knockout stages of the world U17 female football championship in the Dominic Republic knocking the Africans out of the competition 2-0 even with a match to complete the group D rounds.

Witek found Kinga Wyrwas to score the Polish first goal in the 7th minute and then Weronika Arasniewicz made it two in the 46th minute for Zambia to wave bye-bye to another appearance at the mundial.

In another group D match the Juju effect (real name Juliana Harris) of Brazil was neutralized by Japan who hit the Samba girls 2-1 

Juju got the first goal of the match in the 8th minute which was her 2nd goal of the tournament for Brazil only for Momo Ueki-Sato to neutralize the Juju effect scoring in the 49th minute for Japan.

Shinjo got Asako Furuta to score the winning goal in the 53rd minute but VAR twice denied Brazil a rise after rejecting the equalizer in the 60th minute and denying a penalty kick award in the 77th minute.

Brazil had beaten Zambia by a lone goal in the first round while Poland and Japan played a goalless draw.

Poland tops group D with 4 points scoring 2 goals and conceding 0; Japan is 2nd also with 4 points scoring  2 goals and conceding 1; Brazil has 3 points scoring 2 goals and conceding 2 while Zambia has no point no goal scored and 3 goals against.

Group D last matches will be played on Wednesday at 2100 when Brazil will face Poland and Japan will file out against Zambia.

Last group matches starts with Group B on Tuesday at 2100 hours when USA tackes South Korea and Columbia wrestles Spain.  Group A matches will be concluded at midnight of Tuesday when Nigeria will try to maintain her 4 goals per match against hosts Dominic Republic and Ecuador will seek to consolidate her qualifier for Knockout stages against New Zealand.
