Dominic Iorfa, the outgoing Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lobi Stars FC Makurdi, has issued a heartfelt farewell message to Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr Hyacinth Alia, and other stakeholders in the state's football community.

Iorfa, a former international footballer, thanked the Governor for the opportunity to serve the club for a second time, despite facing significant pressure. He also expressed appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Speaker, and other Principal Officers of the government for their support.

Additionally, Iorfa thanked the people of Benue State, players, officials, supporters, and fans of the club for their love and cooperation during his tenure. He highlighted the team's achievements, including escaping relegation and finishing among the top five teams in the league, despite playing all their matches away from home.

Iorfa also mentioned the team's preparation for the upcoming season, including winning the Gusau/Ahlan Preseason tournament in Jos, before the management's dissolution.

As he bids farewell, Iorfa urged the players, officials, supporters, and fans to continue supporting the team and striving for excellence. He stated that Lobi Stars has made him, and he has made sacrifices for the club's progress, which will be remembered by history.

Iorfa announced that he will take a break for now but will continue to support Lobi Stars in spirit. He also expressed his willingness to work for the state in any capacity whenever called upon, thanking the Governor and the people of Benue State once again for the opportunity to serve.
