Chief Ejiro Odibo, a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, has strongly condemned the nonchalant attitude of Niger Delta governors towards supporting their colleague, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State.


Odibo expressed disappointment that the governors have failed to show solidarity with Governor Fubara, who has been facing challenges. He described their inaction as unacceptable and a betrayal of the region's interests.


"The Niger Delta governors, including those from Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa,  Edo ,imo  .ondo   Abia Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states, have failed to demonstrate the necessary unity and support for Governor Fubara. Their silence is deafening and unacceptable," Odibo stated.
He called on the president to call the minister fct  former governor of Rivers State  Barrister wike to order before the crisis will lead to economic sabotage in the region by extension the country at large 

He urged the governors to take immediate action to address the situation and demonstrate their commitment to the region's development.


"We expect our governors to stand strong and united in the face of adversity, not to abandon one of their own," Odibo emphasized.
