The Chairman Ariaria International Market Aba Deacon Michael Aniorji, has
dismissed a certain allegation making the rounds that the Abia State commissioner for trade and commerce Hon. Kingsley Chimezie Nwokocha looted the sum of 5 million naira meant for the current market leadership by impersonating the market officials.
Speaking to newsman in an interview Deacon Aniorji passionately refutes the claim by these media outlets, describing them as baseless, misleading and handwork of mischief makers aimed at derailing the focus of the government by disrupting the peace and harmony in Abia State.
The reports in these media outlets suggested that the commissioner Hon. Nwokocha secretly diverted funds from a deal meant for communication infrastructure in the market.
Deacon Aniorji distanced himself from any publication that seem to suggest that he was part of those that leveled this accusations on the honourable commissioner for trade and commerce Hon. Nwokocha.
He however urged all Abians and the general public to disregard these reports because he as chairman alongside his market executives at Ariaria International Market have and would never work against the government.
He went ahead to declare his unwavering commitment to the vision and mission of the governor Dr Alex Chioma Otti and that of the honourable commissioner for trade and commerce Hon. Kingsley Chimezie Nwokocha
