Davido has been confirmed as a headliner for the 2025 Summerjam Festival, scheduled to take place in Germany from June 4-6. He will share headlining duties with Jamaican reggae icon Vybez Kartel.

Davido's performance follows Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy's headlining appearance at the festival in 2024. The 2025 lineup also features prominent Jamaican artists including Beenie Man and Morgan Heritage.

The announcement comes amidst a busy period for Davido, who recently revealed details of his upcoming album, "5ive," set for release on April 18. This album will feature 17 tracks, mirroring the total number of tracks from his previous four albums. Prior to the album's release, he has released singles "Awuke" featuring YG Marley, and "Funds" featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck. His next single "Be There Still" is set for release on March 15th.

Davido has stated that "5ive" is a deeply personal project. The album is also expected to include a collaboration with Nigerian artist Omah Lay, and a possible collaboration with Adekunle Gold.

Before his Summerjam performance, Davido is nominated in six categories at the 17th Headies Awards, including Artist of the Year.
