NLO Division One side Daniel FC of Gwagwalada, Abuja has announced the appointment of Nta Edwin Chidiebere as the club’s new Team Manager ahead of the 2026 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO One) season.

The appointment was confirmed by the President of the club, Daniel Felix, who made the announcement from his base in the United States of America. According to Felix, Chidiebere emerged as the best candidate after a thorough screening process involving several applicants for the position.

Felix disclosed that the Orlu, Imo State-born football administrator brings valuable experience to the role, having previously served as Team Manager of Kun Khalifa FC of Owerri. Before that, he worked as the Sporting Director of Bebeto FC of Owerri, roles that helped shape his administrative and managerial expertise in grassroots and league football.

Chidiebere’s educational background includes attendance at St. Michael Primary School, Ihioma Orlu, and St. Magdalin Secondary School, Benin City. He also enhanced his football knowledge by attending the Berackiah International Coaching Clinic.

Speaking on the expectations surrounding the new appointment, Felix described the task ahead as enormous, stressing that the new Team Manager is expected to work closely with other members of the technical and administrative crew to improve the club’s performance.

Daniel FC has featured in the NLO One League for the past three seasons, and the club hierarchy is optimistic that the appointment of Nta Edwin Chidiebere will help steer the team toward a stronger and more competitive outing in the 2026 campaign.
