Prince Chidiebere Nwaeze, President and sole financier of Cynosure FC has demanded the hearing of their appeal against the decision of the Disciplinary Committee of the NLO in respect of the Leberty FC vs E-World final day fixture of the Calabar Center of the NLO playoffs, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Cynosure had filed a protest to the NLO Secretariat, suggesting there was match compromise during the game. The club wondered how a team could play all their group games with the full compliment of their squad only to field seven (7) players in the decisive final day fixture, insinuating that there could have been suspicion of 'compromise' in the game.

"Agreed FIFA Rules allow a team to start a game with seven (7) players. But a team that has played all its earlier games with 11 players cannot be justified when it presents seven (7) players in their last group game", the Cynosure boss recalled.

"Yes, there was a change of time (from 10am--7am) kick off time. But there was no report of Force Majeur nor report of any emergency that could have warranted such act", Prince Nweze added.

"However, despite the Disciplinary Committee's decision to uphold the outcome of the match, we appealed against that decision and paid the necessary fees (N200, 000) to the NFF Appeals Committee.

"So, it's normal that our appeal be looked into before the start of the Promotion Playoffs. This is our candid request and we don't think it's a big question to ask.

""We demand for fairness and justice and justice must be seen to have been served even in this case", the Cynosure FC boss emphasised.
