Coach Onigbinde Akinade has confirmed his resignation as the Technical Adviser of Doma FC of Gombe, thereby bringing to an end a remarkable three-year spell with the Savannah Tigers.

 

In a heartfelt resignation letter addressed to the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Suleman Umar, and dated September 2, 2025, Akinade described his time at the club as “an honor and a rare privilege,” expressing deep gratitude for the opportunity to lead the team through one of its most successful periods.

 

“Over the past three seasons, it has been an honor and a rare privilege to serve this great club under your able leadership. I am deeply grateful to you, Alhaji Suleman Umar, for entrusting me with the responsibility of guiding the team,” the letter read.

 

Akinade also commended the technical crew, players, and backroom staff for their dedication, unity, and professionalism, noting that their shared commitment was instrumental in achieving several key milestones.
