Former Kwara United F.C. head coach, Abdullahi Biffo, has formally declared his support for the 2027 gubernatorial ambition of Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki Gambari with the launch of a political support platform named Amba Vision 2027.

 

The support group was officially unveiled on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in Ilorin. According to Coach Biffo, the initiative is aimed at mobilising grassroots backing for Seriki’s governorship aspiration ahead of the 2027 elections.

 

Amba Vision 2027 is said to have membership spread across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State, reflecting what organisers describe as a growing statewide structure.

 

Biffo, a seasoned football tactician with decades of professional experience, stated that his decision to step into political mobilisation stems from his belief in Seriki’s leadership capacity and vision for Kwara State.

 

The group was received by key figures within the Amba political structure, including Team Captain Hon. Kale Oloje, Hon. Muazu Muhammed (Emperor), and Ambassiyah Coordinator Hon. Ismail Kayode (Senator).

 

In his remarks, Hon. Kale Oloje urged members of the newly inaugurated support group to remain focused and united in pursuit of their objectives. He emphasized teamwork, loyalty, and commitment as essential pillars for achieving the goals of Amba Vision 2027.

 

Also speaking, the Coordinator of Amba Vision 2027, Hon. Abdullateef Onimago, expressed appreciation to Team Amba for the warm reception. He assured stakeholders that the support group would work collaboratively with Team Amba and the Ambassiyah Movement to ensure the actualisation of the 2027 vision.

 

The launch marks another step in the build-up to the 2027 governorship race in Kwara State, as political alignments and grassroots mobilisation efforts gradually gather momentum.
