One church for Abuja, Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide, don expel one newly married woman, Oyiza, from their congregation for allegedly refusing to consummate her marriage with her husband, Isaac.

 

The couple wey dey stay for Ibadan, do their wedding on September 6, 2025, after dem complete traditional rites for Okene and court wedding for Ibadan.

 

But shortly after the marriage, wahala start as the bride allegedly refuse make her husband touch am, talk say she no love am. She also accuse her mama say na force dem force her enter the marriage.

 

Report show say family members and church leaders try settle the matter many times, but the woman no gree change her stand.

 

For video wey dem post for YouTube in February, International Director of the church, Paul Rika, announce say dem don expel Oyiza after five months of failed settlement.

 

As him dey talk, the pastor describe her as “demon” and say she must face punishment. He also accuse her of spiritism and tell church members make dem pray against her, say she bring shame to the church.

 

“So, we have delivered her to Satan. We have expelled, excommunicated her. You want to bring shame, wetin you mean say you no love Isaac?” he talk.

 

The cleric still refer to old cultural practices wey brides dey cry go husband house by force, talk say even prostitutes no dey ask for love before dem do their work.

 

The incident don generate mixed reactions, as many people dey question both the handling of the matter and the strong statements wey follow the expulsion.
