Nigeria international and Trabzonspor midfielder, Chioma Olise, paid a heartfelt visit to her former club, Royal Queens Football Club of Warri, where her football journey first took flight.

During the visit, Olise presented her Trabzonspor jersey and gift items to the team, a gesture that symbolized appreciation for the role the club played in shaping her career.

Olise began her professional rise at Royal Queens — fondly known as the Canadian Geese — where she helped secure promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

Before making the move to Turkey, the dynamic midfielder enjoyed domestic success, winning the NWFL Premiership with Edo Queens and lifting the WAFU-B trophy. She was also instrumental in Edo Queens’ impressive run to a fourth-place finish at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.

Since joining Trabzonspor, Olise has made a mark in her debut season, scoring a goal and registering several assists in the Turkish league.

Now back in Nigeria during the off-season, Olise has been giving back to those who contributed to her growth — visiting clubs and individuals who supported her rise and presenting them with personalized memorabilia.

Her visit to Royal Queens stands as a powerful reminder of humility, gratitude, and the importance of community in the development of athletes.
