Nigeria forward Charity Reuben is making waves in the Egyptian women’s league during her impressive debut season.

On Thursday, she scored the decisive goal in Al Ahly’s 1-0 win against Modern, netting just 36 seconds into the match—the fastest goal in the Egypt Women’s Premier League history.

In her first match of the season, Reuben scored twice, making her the first player to find the net for Al Ahly in their Derby victory over Zamalek. After three league games, she has already tallied three goals.

Al Ahly currently shares the top spot in the league with nine points alongside NBE and FC Masar. The team will rely on Reuben’s scoring prowess as they aim for the title, which would secure a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers for the UNAF (North Africa) region.
