Canadian based Nigerian football prodigy gets Villarreal Academy invite
Eleven year old Canadian based Nigerian football prodigy, Hadriel Chukwuziterem Opara has continued to attract attention from various teams with the latest coming from Villarreal FC of Spain which has invited him to be part of their planned invitational youth camp.
According to the letter of invitation made available, he was invited to the three day camp slated for Las Vegas, United States from December 27-29, 2024 as one of the select group of talented players that fixed into the philosophy of Villarreal Academy North America select team ID Camp.
The letter noted that the Villarreal coaching staff along with the academy technical staff have been monitoring his performance, work ethics, and exemplary attitude which qualifies him to represent Villarreal Edmonton at the prestigious event.
The Villarreal Academy North America ID Camp 2024, is a three day intensive training camp for players from all over Villarreal CF Academies in North America alongside other talented young players from USA, Canada and Mexico
During the camping, they will be handled by UEFA licensed coaches from Villarreal CF in Spain.
Hadriel who said his dream is to play for Nigeria's U-15 national team, started playing football at the age of three with the renowned Pepsi Football Academy, Lagos before moving to Golden Feet Soccer Club. London. Ontario, Canada where he became the club's highest goal scorer.
At the age of ten, he joined Astra Soccer Academy's U-13 team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and despite being young was selected for the elite Tier1 travel team and currently honing his craft with KC Trojan and Villarreal Alberta where his talent continues to soar.
