Campos FC asserted their dominance on the grand stage of the OISA Premier Football League, defeating their junior side, Campos Feeders, 3–0 in a thrilling all-Campos final to lift the OISA Pro League 2026 trophy. The highly anticipated encounter took place on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the OISA Stadium in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area, Imo State.

Head coach Gaptus Chibueze, popularly known as the “Wicked Mbaise Jellof Coach,” praised his players for their discipline and tactical execution, stressing the importance of finishing matches early. His impressive leadership throughout the tournament earned him the Best Coach of the Tournament award.

The final, held as part of the OISA @10 Anniversary celebrations, was more than a battle for silverware. It was a test of supremacy within the Campos football family and a showcase of the deep-rooted football culture that defines the club’s dynasty.

Campos FC wasted no time in taking control of the match. Stephen Nathaniel delivered a masterclass in the first half, scoring twice with calm and clinical finishing to give the senior side a commanding 2–0 lead at the break. His brace left the Feeders’ defense under constant pressure and set the tone for the contest.

The second half saw a spirited response from Campos Feeders, who regrouped and played with greater intent. They created several chances, hit the woodwork, and tested the senior team’s defense, but fortune did not favor them on the day.

Campos FC remained composed and ruthless. Their superiority was sealed when Onyedikachi Ehirim struck the third goal, effectively ending any hopes of a comeback and underlining the experience and quality of the senior side.

After the match, Coach Obinna of Campos Feeders admitted his team failed to follow tactical instructions in the first half but praised their improved display after the break, lamenting missed opportunities as the decisive factor.

Individual awards highlighted standout performances across the tournament. Oche Emmanuel was named Best Goalkeeper, Nlemedim Ugochikwu won Best Defender, Chukwuemeka Nnadi emerged as Most Valuable Player (MVP), while Gaptus Chibuike claimed the Best Coach honor.

Campos FC’s emphatic 3–0 victory crowned them champions of the OISA Pro League 2026, reaffirming their status as the kings of the OISA stage. More than just a win, the final celebrated football excellence, family rivalry, and the enduring legacy of Campos Football Club.
