Patrick Osuji, Proprietor and Chief Executive Officer of Campos Football Academy, Owerri, in a rare demonstration of kindness has splashed millions of Naira to Football stakeholders in Imo State, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Osuji's show of love, kindness and magnanimity follows the successful transfer of one of his Academy players, Uche Chris Angus, to Spanish side, Getafe.

And the generous Osuji felt it was necessary to have Football stakeholders in the state get a share of the proceeds by showing love to the football stakeholders.

Major beneficiary of this unprecedented gesture is the Imo State Football Association who received a sum of N2.5million to support her football activities, while the Imo state chapter of SWAN got N500,000, while amateur clubs in the state got N100,000 each.

Osuji said it was necessary for the club to show kindness to football stakeholders who stood by them when the wave looked dangerous to sink the club into oblivion.

"I thank God Almighty for his mercy. I want to appreciate those God used to help Campos Fc when things were very tough, some persons we ran to for help when we could not afford basic things," Osuji said.

"Football business is not easy, but we will keep on pushing forward. We are glad that Christantus Uche, a product of the club is doing well in Europe. It was part of the money from his transfer to Spain that we used to extend love to Imo State FA board, SWAN, Imo State referees to mention, but a few.

"It is our prayer that Campos FC will keep on discovering and developing players that will turn professional footballers in Europe," he said.
