Popular Nollywood actress Bukola Awoyemi, professionally known as Bukola Arugba, has finally broken her silence about her separation from her ex-partner, actor Damola Olatunji. The couple parted ways in May 2023, with rumors of infidelity surrounding Olatunji.

In a recent YouTube video, Arugba revealed that she left Olatunji because their relationship had become unworkable, despite her efforts to make it succeed. "We went our separate ways because it wasn’t working," she said. "I tried my best to make it work, but it just wasn’t working."

Arugba emphasized that she and Olatunji are co-parenting their twins amicably and that they are both moving on with their lives. "My ex is living his life, and we are not fighting," she said. "We are co-parenting very well."

Arugba appealed to her fans to respect her and Olatunji's privacy, saying, "Please, let sleeping dogs lie. We are both doing fine. I wouldn’t want what happened between us in his past relationship with me to affect his new relationship."
