BONFA, Rangels, Two Others Seal Semi Final Spots In N3.7m Akubudike Energy/Anambra StateLeague
No fewer than four teams have sealed their places in the 2025 Anambra State League being bankrolled by High Chief Jim Martin Nwabueze (Akubudike n'Umudioka), Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
They include Bishop Owen Nwokolo Football Academy, BONFA, Rangels FC, Lampada FC, and Game Changers FC.
To reach this stage, BONFA defeated De-Wilson FC 5-3 on penalty kicks after a scoreless regulation time stalemate in a thrilling quarter final showdown.
Rangels FC Achina edged Anambra Rovers 1-0 in another quarter final fixture while Game Changers eliminated Dragons FC, Aguleri 2-0 just as Lampada FC Oko prevailed 3-1 over Olive Charles FA on penalty kicks after a goalless regulation time deadline.
The semi final matches are billed to hold at Rojenny Stadium, Oba, on 30 November, 2025.
The two semi final games will hold same day and venue at 1pm and 3pm respectively.
Organisers, Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, have confirmed the semi final pairings, with BONFA slated to tackle Rangels FC, Achina at 1pm while Game Changer FC takes to the pitch against Lampada at 3pm.
The grand finale of the competition is slated for Sunday, 7th December 2025 with the overall winners going home a giant trophy and a cash prize of N2m.
The runners-up will collect N1m while the third place team takes home N500, 000 just as the fourth placed team gets N200, 000.
Similarly, the champions and runner-up will earn the right to compete in the play-off for the 2026 Nationwide League, NLO 2.
