Benue FA Chairman Interacts With Benue Coaches

Chairman of Benue State Football Association (BSFA), Chief Dr. Barr. Paul Edeh, recently met with the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Benue State Chapter at the McCarthy Stadium Wadata. During the interface, Edeh emphasized the importance of football development globally, highlighting its potential as a lucrative business.
Edeh, who is also the founder of Ratels Sports Development Foundation (RSDF) , stressed key areas that enhance football development, including:
- *Coaches Education and Development*: Providing coaches with the necessary training and resources to improve their skills.
- *Importance of Football in Localities*: Promoting football at the grassroots level to develop local talent.
- *Discovery of Raw Talents*: Identifying and nurturing young talent to shape them into global-standard players.
Edeh urged coaches to take their career development seriously, as they play a crucial role in shaping the character, attitude, and charisma of young players. He also promised to bring in resource technocrats to provide basic football coaching training to those who lack the necessary knowledge.
In a show of support, Edeh pledged to donate 10 new balls and 2 new sets of jerseys to the Association, with a promise to do more in the future. His commitment to grassroots football development in Benue State and Nigeria is truly commendable.
