Bendel Insurance Appoint Former U23 Olympic Eagles, John Gadi, As Goalkeeper Coach
Bendel Insurance has appointed former U-23 Olympic Eagles and Beach Soccer Eagles goalkeeper, John Ga'adi, as Goalkeeper Coach, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Ga'adi was with Lobi Stars in the same role before linking up with Kennedy Boboye at the Benin Arsenals following the departure of Greg Ikhanobe.
"I've left Lobi Stars FC after I appointed as Goalkeeper Coach of Bendel Insurance", Ga'adi told Exclusivenews.com.ng on Wednesday morning.
"I'm now with Coach Boboye at Bendel Insurance and I'm very happy".
The veteran NPFL Goalkeeper had career spells at Rangers, Katsina United, Jigawa Golden Stars, Wikki Tourists, Plateau United, Lobi Stars, Enyimba, Sunshine Stars and Akwa United.
Checks reveal that the new Bendel Insurance Goalkeeper Coach was part of the Nigeria U-23 Team during the 2003 All Africa Games held in Abuja.
He was also part of the team during qualification series of the 2004 Olympic Games but Nigeria's Dream Team 111 did not qualify for the event.
Ga'adi was part of the 2003 President Federation Cup winning Enyimba. He also won the 2004 NPFL title as well as the Super Cup (2005) with the People's Elephant.
In 2007, the new Bendel Insurance Goalkeeper Coach won the NPFL title with Plateau United before lifting the 2010 CAF Beach Soccer Nations title in Morocco with Nigeria's Beach Soccer National Team.
Before joining Bendel Insurance, John Ga'adi coached J.M Liberty FC, Makurdi, Next Niger Super Stars, Lobi Stars, Heartland FC and Sunshine Stars with Lobu Stars as his last club before the move to the Benin Arsenals.
