Barrister Isaac Danladi has officially assumed office as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, signaling a significant return to legal administration and governance.

The appointment follows a recent cabinet reshuffle by Governor Abdullahi Sule, positioning Danladi—formerly the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources—at the helm of the Ministry of Justice.

In his inaugural address during the handover ceremony from outgoing Attorney General, Magistrate Hauwa Samuel, Danladi urged staff of the ministry to unite in promoting social justice and upholding the rule of law across the state.

“Commitment is the backbone of anticipated success,” he stated, stressing the importance of teamwork and dedication in meeting the responsibilities ahead. He emphasized that delivering on the mandate of Governor Sule’s administration remains a top priority.

Danladi also reassured the public of the governor’s continued efforts to respond to the needs and aspirations of the people, and called on ministry staff and citizens alike to support the administration in its ongoing reforms.

In her farewell remarks, Magistrate Hauwa Samuel acknowledged the evolving nature of government roles and encouraged staff to offer Barrister Danladi the same level of cooperation and professionalism that defined her tenure.

Danladi’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the justice sector in Nasarawa State, as the administration intensifies its push for effective governance and legal reform.
