Nigeria’s Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has revealed the reason she left Catalan club FC Barcelona Feminine for the United States of America.

The 29-year-old Nigerian striker left the European champions on transfer deadline day to join American side, Bay FC for a two-year deal, with an option of a one-year extension.

While speaking to journalists, the six-time Africa Women’s Player of the Year said she doesn’t like to stay too long in a club.

“I just feel like I want something different. If you follow my career for a long time, you realize that I get easily bored.

“I don’t really stay long in any place. I stay two, or three years and I want to try something else.

I’ve played on a couple of continents and I feel like I want to play elsewhere”, she said.

Oshoala scored 117 goals for Barcelona in over 100 matches and clinched 14 trophies with the Spanish giants.
