Grammy-nominated artiste Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reconciled with his father, Mr. Fatai Odunsi, after a public appeal for help surfaced online.

Mr. Odunsi, who has been battling paralysis due to a stroke, previously claimed he had not seen or heard from Asake since March 2022. He alleged that his calls had gone unanswered and sought financial assistance from Nigerians for his treatment.

However, in a recent update on Sunday, Mr. Odunsi confirmed that Asake had reached out to him, expressing pride in his son and offering prayers. Speaking in Yoruba, he clarified that his initial frustration stemmed from not seeing Asake for a long time but assured that their issues had been resolved.

“We have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting,” he said.

Mr. Odunsi further revealed that Asake has initiated plans to purchase a new house for him through real estate agents.

“Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” he added.

Additionally, he disclosed that Asake has committed to taking full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child,” Mr. Odunsi stated.
