Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has reacted strongly to allegations circulating on social media linking him romantically to reality star and actress BamBam, amid speculation about her marriage to Teddy A.

 

Concerns were sparked online after Bambam and Teddy A reportedly unfollowed each other on social media, fueling rumours of a possible crisis in their marriage. However, Bambam later appeared to dismiss the speculation by sharing proof of her marital status.

 

The situation escalated when an X user identified as “Stay Wicked” alleged that Bambam’s marriage had crashed and further claimed she was pregnant for Arukwe — a claim that quickly gained traction online.

 

Responding to the accusation, Arukwe said the social media account responsible had been identified and warned of consequences.

 

“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry,” he said.

 

The actor added that he deliberately chose not to quote the account in order to avoid amplifying it but stressed that action would be taken.

 

“When I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation,” he stated.

 

Fans of the actor have since expressed outrage over the allegation, with many calling for strict action against the X user. Supporters argue that making an example of individuals who spread unverified claims could help curb defamatory content and protect public figures from reputational harm.

 

The incident has reignited conversations about misinformation, online accountability, and the growing culture of viral rumours on social media platforms.
