Nigerian singer Chike has made shocking allegations about Apple Music Nigeria's top songs chart, claiming it's heavily compromised.

In a recent episode of 'Curiosity Made Me Ask' with Bae U Barbie, Chike stated:

"Apple Music's Top 10 and Top 20 charts are rigged... most times."

He explained that artists can artificially boost their rankings by paying for streams.

"If I want to be top 10, I can spend $30,000 and get there. But it's not real," Chike said.

Chike clarified that not all chart-toppers are a result of manipulation, acknowledging exceptions.

He emphasized the importance of genuine visibility, saying:

"Music promotion is about visibility. If you don't promote, people might not see it."

Chike's revelations raise questions about the authenticity of music charts and the role of financial influence in determining an artist's success.
