As Nigeria edges closer to the 2027 general election, Prophet Elijah Bamidele of the Christ House of Prayer and Deliverance Ministry, Lagos, has issued a stark warning to the All Progressives Congress (APC), foreseeing internal turmoil within the ruling party.

In a recent prophecy shared via his official Facebook page, Prophet Bamidele revealed a spiritual vision where APC members turned against each other, particularly highlighting discontent among the party’s youth.

“I saw APC fighting APC. The people who are supposed to fight for APC are the ones fighting APC,” he said.

The cleric described a scene where youths within the APC felt betrayed, accusing the leadership of abandoning promises made to them.

“I heard the voice of a youth saying, ‘You think you can use and dump us the way you used us before?’ This thing I’m saying now is going to happen.”

Bamidele emphasized that the crisis he foresaw is not external sabotage but a self-inflicted rebellion, driven by disillusioned young party members. He warned that the unresolved grievances could escalate into full-blown infighting that might destabilize the party’s structure ahead of the next election.
The prophet directed a passionate appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to revisit the unfulfilled promises made to the youths during the 2023 campaign.

“Mr President, the youths you promised and you have not fulfilled the promise, please go back to them and fulfil the promise. I beg of you, President Tinubu, look into the APC, look into the youths, look into the promises you made to them.”

This prophecy comes amid increasing scrutiny of the APC’s internal cohesion, especially around youth engagement and party reforms. Since taking office in 2023, President Tinubu’s administration has faced criticism over economic hardship, rising unemployment, and limited political inclusion of young Nigerians—many of whom played a pivotal role during the campaign season.

If Prophet Bamidele’s vision materializes, it could signal a major political crisis within the APC, potentially affecting the party’s chances in the 2027 general election. The warning highlights growing concerns about youth disenfranchisement, which remains a sensitive issue in Nigeria’s political landscape.
