APC Flagbearer Commends GDSS Gwagwalada, as 161 Students Graduate

The All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for the upcoming 2026 election in Gwagwalada Area Council, Usman Yahaya, has praised the Principal of Government Day Secondary School (GDSS), Alhaji Bello Suleiman, for his exemplary dedication, as the school celebrated the graduation of 161 students over the weekend.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Yahaya lauded the principal’s leadership and promised to support the school’s administration if elected in next year’s council elections. He encouraged the graduating students to be proud ambassadors of GDSS and urged them to pursue further education.
“Be good ambassadors of this institution wherever you go and continue to strive for excellence in your educational journey,” Yahaya advised.
Earlier, Principal Bello Suleiman charged the graduating students to uphold the core values instilled in them during their time at GDSS, including discipline, diligence, loyalty, respect, integrity, and dedication. He prayed for their success and urged them to recognize their potential as future leaders and innovators.
“The world is waiting for your ideas and leadership,” he said.
The principal also commended the teachers for their hard work in imparting knowledge and thanked parents for their continuous support—spiritually, financially, and morally—throughout their children’s studies.
The Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Mallam Hassan Loko, also urged the students to remain committed to their education and praised the school management for creating a conducive learning environment.
