The Speaker Abia State House Of Assembly RT Hon Emmanuel I. Emeruwa has seen to the creation of The Abia State House Of Assembly Service Commission. The feat which is the first time it has been done in the history of The State has been seen by many as a remarkable one.

The establishment of the commission marks as a stepping stone in the quest for legislative independence in Abia State. This would see an end to the  legislative over dependence on the executive for their financial needs.
This achievement by The Speaker is a prove of his tireless commitment in his desire to  bring good governance to the people and ensure that true democratic principles takes the front seat in the Abia Assembly.

2. Hon. Destiny Nwagwu - Member
3. Hon. Chijioke Nwachukwu - Member
4. Mr. Chiemela Nwamkpa - Member
5. Mrs. Grace Ibe - Member
6. Dr. Steve Ochomma - Member
7. Mr. Ezechi Nmere - Member

 This achievement will be go down as one of the highlights of RT Hon Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa's tenure, as the Speaker of the Abia State House Of Assembly.
