Angela Okorie: I’m Still Pulling Out Bullets from My Head”

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has revealed that fragments from a bullet fired during an assassination attempt in 2019 remain lodged in her head, continuing to affect her health to this day.
In a recent social media post, the actress shared footage of her medical evaluations and opened up about the physical challenges she’s been facing. She disclosed that she has spent the past two weeks moving from one hospital to another, undergoing numerous tests and scans due to persistent health issues, including blurry vision and frequent headaches.
“Last two weeks have been so hectic, lovers,” she wrote. “It has been from visiting one hospital to another, running a series of tests after tests on my head and body, and I have not been feeling too well either, so my doctor advised that I should be placed on bed rest. Seriously, good health is underestimated.”
Angela further revealed that new bullet fragments continue to surface years after the attack:
“I went for my checkups and found out that there were still fragments of bullet in my head. As years go by, even more bullets still come out. But at the end of the day, God showeth mercy. God is with me no doubt, and may His name be praised. Amen. #legitqueen.”
The actress was attacked by gunmen in December 2019, sustaining multiple injuries to her head. Since the incident, she has maintained that the attack was not random but orchestrated by individuals within the entertainment industry. She has repeatedly stated that she will never forgive those she believes were behind the attempt on her life.
Okorie’s revelation has sparked concern and sympathy among fans, with many expressing admiration for her strength and resilience in the face of ongoing trauma.
