The game, played at the packed Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos, saw Rivers Angels edge past Edo Queens with a 2-1 victory, reclaiming the prestigious title in front of an electrified crowd.

Mgbechi was undoubtedly the star of the evening. The 22-year-old shot-stopper delivered a string of outstanding saves throughout the match, keeping her side in the game during crucial moments, including a dramatic one-on-one stop in the 78th minute that prevented Edo Queens from equalizing.
