American Based Entertainer Supports Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Tournament

 

The organizers of the annual  Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup,  has revealed that  a Nigerian- American based entertainer, Adebiyi Michael Bamidele has thrown his support to the  second edition of the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial tournament which is aimed at giving meaning to the fallen  heroine. The tournament will hold from 11th to 17th December at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba, Delta State. 

According to the initiator of the Program, Judith Chime, Mr Adebiyi Bamidele who is the CEO of Big Mike Entertainment in the United States has promised to support the second edition of the tournament to ensure that it is a success. 

She said the US based business man said he believes in the concept of the program, and the initiator, and will render his support to make it a success. 

According to the initiator of the Program, Judith Chime popularly called Kamala in her playing days, the  tournament which is now an annual event , has continued to attract the good will of spirited individuals, she appealed for more supports to ensure that more Ifeanyi Chiejines are discovered from the nooks and crannies of the country. 

Ifeanyichukwu Stephanie Chiejine was the youngest member of the Super Falcons to the 1999 World Cup in United States. She was born on 17th May 1983, and  died on 21st August 2019.  She last played for SSVSM-Kairat Almaty in the Kazakhstani Championship.She  also played for FC Indiana in the USA W-League.
