Former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF President, Amaju Pinnick  and superstar singer, Davido are fighting themselves dirty, over the inability of the singer from honouring an agreement of performing in an event. However, Davido has boasted that Amaju Pinnick cannot stopped him from performing anywhere in the country, accusing him of leaving in a glass house, and should not throw stones. 

Amaju Pinnick had alleged that Davido had refused to perform at an event in Warri, Delta State despite getting paid in excess of $94,600 (N72 million Naira) and booking a private jet to pick him.

Mr Pinnick, a member of CAF AND FIFA Executive Committees  had expressed disappointment in the Superstars absence at the Warri Again event in Delta State held on Friday, 6th of October, 2023.

Davido was according to Amaju paid $94,600 for his performance at the event and a chartered plane was arranged to convey him and his team to the state. He added that the payment has been made since April 6th, 2023.

Davido who was intended to be the headline act at the event was replaced with “Evien” crooner Shallipopi

Amaju Pinnick while speaking to the audience members expressed his utmost displeasure toward Davido while adding that the “Feel” crooner won’t be allowed to perform in Warri henceforth.

He accused Davido of being proud as he asserted that Burnaboy is a bigger artiste than the DMW boss.

Reacting, the Foremost Nigeria singer, said nobody could stop him from performing anywhere in the country.

Nigerian American-born singer, songwriter and record producer stated this in response to former Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick who alleged that he (Davido) was paid $94,600 to perform at the Warri Again event in Asaba on Friday but he never showed.

But responding Davido who first said he won’t  talk, later added that nobody can stop him from performing anywhere in the country.

“Nobody can stop me from performing-anywhere in Nigeria … Warri I will see you soon,” he said.

He later added in another  that Pinnick lives in a glass house and should not throw stones.

“Throwing stones but you live in a glass house,” he said.
