The Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) Football Coaches Council has officially announced the commencement of registration for the 6th edition of the highly anticipated 2025 Unity Cup.

According to the Council’s leader, Coach Kenny Owojori, the tournament is scheduled to kick off in the first week of June 2025, with all matches set to take place at the popular Area 3 playing pitch in Abuja.

Coach Owojori urged interested teams to take advantage of the ongoing registration window, which closes on May 23. He emphasized that preparations for the competition are already in top gear and participating teams should not delay in confirming their entries.

“We are ready to begin the tournament after the close of registration. We are now calling on teams that are interested in playing the tournament to immediately signify their interest by registering their teams,” he said.

The AMAC Unity Cup, now in its sixth edition, has grown to become a key grassroots football competition in the FCT, providing a platform for local talents to showcase their skills and compete in a structured and spirited environment.

Organizers say this year’s tournament will feature enhanced coordination and fair play, with the goal of further strengthening the football ecosystem within the council.
