Alli Baba Commends Nigeria Musicians
Veteran comedian Ali Baba has commended Nigerian musicians for their significant contribution to promoting Nigeria's image on the global stage. In a recent interview on Channels Television, Ali Baba argued that these artists have surpassed the efforts of official ambassadors.
"The entertainment and creative industry, particularly music, deserves more recognition for its role in putting Nigeria on the map," Ali Baba said. He expressed disappointment that the government's economic plans seem to overlook this crucial sector.
"A recent economic forecast by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group completely disregarded the creative industry," he pointed out. "This is a significant oversight, considering the immense value this sector brings to the nation."
Ali Baba offered specific praise for Afrobeats star Burna Boy. "He, along with many other Nigerian musicians, has done more for national awareness than any ambassador we've sent abroad. Their music is introducing Nigeria and its culture to the world in a powerful way."
