All arrangements have been concluded for the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing ECN/Gwagwalada Coaches U17 Football Tournament currently holding in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

 

The quarterfinal matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday, 31st January, 2025, following an exciting group stage that produced thrilling performances and impressive goal tallies across the groups.

 

In Group A, Golden Boys emerged as group winners with six points, edging out Desert Warriors, who also finished with six points but had an inferior goal difference. Group B saw a dominant display from ECN Global Academy, who amassed the maximum nine points, scoring eleven goals without conceding any. Sensational Stars Academy joined them in the knockout stage after finishing second with four points.

 

Group C was topped by Bocknor Academy with seven points, while D-Royal Academy followed closely with five points. In the other group, Medical Feeders finished as leaders with seven points, and Dukpa Feeders secured qualification with five points.

 

The quarterfinal fixtures promise mouth-watering encounters. Golden Boys will lock horns with D-Royal Academy, while Bocknor Academy faces a stern test against Desert Warriors. ECN Global Academy will battle Dukpa United as they continue their quest for the title. The final match of the day will see Medical Feeders take on Sensational Stars Academy.

 

Winners of the quarterfinal matches will progress to the semifinals, which are slated for Tuesday, 3rd February, as the competition moves closer to crowning its champions.
