High Chief Sir Dr. Ikenna Okafor, MD/CEO of Keves Global Leasing, has called on Nigerian youths to leverage education and skills to promote the country's rich diverse culture. 

Speaking during an exclusive interview at his country home in Akwaeze, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Okafor emphasized that education should not be seen as merely a means to secure employment, but rather as a tool to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in life.

"Going to school is not just about being trained to be employed, but about being trained to live and to be knowledgeable in contributing one's quota towards societal growth and development which is primary for nation building," High Chief Dr. Okafor said. 

Chief Okafor noted that Nigerian culture is gaining international recognition, with the country's fashion sense and cuisine attracting global attention. He urged youths to take pride in their heritage, which encourages hard work and resilience despite systemic challenges.

Chief Okafor emphasized that Nigerian youths should not be mere passengers in the country's development, but rather pilots and captains driving key sectors of human endeavour which is why they are encouraged to acquire skills and education that would enable them to contribute positively to the nation's growth and development.

The Akwaeze born successful businessman, philanthropist and education advocate affirmed that  Nigerian youths have the potential to drive innovation and progress in various fields, from technology to arts and culture. By embracing education and skills development, he assured that the youths can unlock opportunities and contribute to the nation's growth.
