Nigerian youngster Ajibola Akanbi has expressed optimism about his performance in the Portuguese League's lower division, citing it as a positive step towards realizing his dreams of playing among the world's best.

The 21-year-old left-sided attacker, who plays for ACD Penedo Gordon, believes that his team can escape relegation despite their current difficult position. "We are working hard to improve our standing, and all hands are on deck to make this happen," Akanbi said.
