Aguata Football Academy U-13 Boys end 2023 Summer Camp, tours Nest of Champions in Uyo*

Aguata Football Academy (AFA) Under-13 Boys have concluded their thrilling and fun-filled 2023 Summer Camp with a visit to the 30,000 capacity Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo fondly known as the Nest of Champions Stadium.
The Solution Boys of Aguata Football Academy had earlier arrived Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State on Thursday, 24th August 2023 for the four-day summer camp laced with activities comprising of two friendly matches with Uyo based academies, camp expedition, tours and expositions.
The summer camping which is an initiative of the Transition Committee Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area and Proprietor of the Academy, Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike had 20 players and five team officials embarking on the camping programme. In the first match, the Solution Boys of AFA defeated Blessed Stars Academy of Uyo by two goals to one at the Uyo Township Stadium on Friday while losing narrowly by a goal to nil to Greater Tomorrow Academy in their second match, a keenly contested encounter played on Saturday morning at the same venue.
As part of the programme of activities for the 2023 summer camp, the boys toured the 30,000 seater Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo also known as the Nest of Champions, a stadium modeled after the Allianz Arena in Germany. The AFA contingent were accompanied during the tour of the sports facility by the Special Adviser to the Akwa-Ibom State Governor on Sports, Elder Paul Bassey, as the Solution Boys had the privilege of having a full access to the facility including seeing and feeling the presidential seats and lounges, the VIP areas, players' changing and massage rooms as well as the training grounds.
The boys also had a treat at Ibom Tropicana Mall while there were visits to Ibom Plaza, Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Centre, Ibom Connection and the National Museum for Colonial History and Amalgamation House.
