Chukwuma Agor, the winger for Heartland, is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Oriental derby against Abia Warriors in Owerri this Sunday.

With the aim of mirroring their successful outing earlier this season in the Nigeria Premier Football League, where the Naze Millionaires triumphed 2-0 with contributions from Agor and Michael Ogu, he is optimistic about securing another favorable outcome.

“That’s definitely the goal,” he stated. “I’m committed to doing my part, and everyone is determined to finish the season strongly.

“Heartland has a history of performing well in derby matches, and I have participated in several myself. We are entering this weekend’s game with a strong sense of confidence, and I believe we can achieve similar success as we did in Umuahia. Why not?

“The derby holds significant meaning for the fans, and I share that sentiment. We are all highly motivated. Every player is giving their utmost, and the coaching staff is equally dedicated to ensuring we finish as high as possible in the standings.”

Reflecting on his personal performance this season, which includes three goals and one assist in 18 matches, Agor expresses pride in his accomplishments.
