The Hand2Hand Foundation, a Charity dedicated to better life for indigent children in Abuja, broke new frontiers by adopting a third sport, boxing into its laudable programmes.

President and founder o the foundation, Richard Agbonifo performed the induction on Thursday, during a 
a cadet handball tournament, organized as the last programme of this year's activities, which started on April 13th with their 2024 AGM. 

At the event, held at the Old Parade ground, Area 10, Garki Abuja; Mr. Agbonifo charged sports federations in the country to work tirelessly to ensure their sports gains popularity and become marketable like football.

Mr Agbonifo said Hand2Hand foundation also believes in harnessing talents from the grassroots is possible when other sports, especially handball are sellable.

The Edo state-born former Nigeria handballer, who played the sport professionally in Modena Italy and I'm Germany then donated boxing kits to kids under the tutelage of FCT Assistant Boxing coach, Olapade Oladosu to help them achieve success.

Captain of the Junior Boxing Team Destiny Okasi, and Assistant Coach of the team, Olapade Oladosu, thanked the foundation for the support and equipment donated, saying they will encourage the kids in their boxing career.

The Richard Agbonifo Sports Foundation is championing a crusade of giving less privileged children in the society, a better lease of life through education and sports; had in the last two years made similar interventions in Cadet Handball (Boys & Girls), and Athletics for Children Aged 12 and Under! 

The Academy had its 2024 AGM enrolled nine more kids (five boys and four girls), into its scholarship scheme, bring the number to eighteen (18).
