The Abia Merchants/Traders Amalgamation is set to hit the streets once again, this time in support of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for re-election in 2027.

 

The march, led by the President of the Abia State Market Leaders Association, Hon. Oba Moses Ibe, is calling on all merchants and lovers of good governance in Abia to join in singing the campaign anthem: “Nzogbu enyimba enyi! Nzogbu nzogbu enyimba enyi!”

 

Scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2026, the event is expected to attract key players from the state’s commercial sector as well as citizens who support effective governance.

 

The mantra of the march, “Continuity is our goal” (4+4=8), symbolizes the unwavering support of Abia merchants for Governor Otti’s leadership and the desire to maintain the progress achieved under his administration.

 

Merchants are being urged to join the march, show their appreciation, and make their support for His Excellency’s exceptional leadership visible.

 

“Let our numbers be seen and felt! Join the march and let your voice be heard!” the organisers declared.
