The Abia State Government has successfully hosted the National Under-12/15 Handball Championship at the Township Stadium, marking another milestone in grassroots sports development in the state.

 

The tournament attracted young talents from across the country and underscored Abia’s growing reputation as a hub for youth sports and talent discovery.

 

In a related development, top officials of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, led by former National President of the Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA), Sylvester Ikuejamoye, paid a courtesy visit to the Abia State Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Victor O. Orji.

 

Orji, who also previously served as National President of FEPSGA, warmly received the delegation, highlighting the enduring bond among sports administrators committed to the growth of public service and grassroots sports in Nigeria.

 

The visit emphasized collaboration among sports and public institutions, particularly in fostering youth engagement, talent development, and national unity through sporting activities.
